But Jackson Bird allayed fears doing a good clean-up job after Tea to pick his first five-for and leave his batsmen with a target of 201. In response, Wagner looks like the only threat which stands in the way of Australia and the No. 1 Test ranking. He can't do it on his own though. Needs support from someone, someone! It will be the last day of McCullum in International cricket as well. Plenty to tune in for, tomorrow. See you then. Cheers!
The players stride off on what has been another remarkable day's play. New Zealand have done well to take it into Day 5 when it didn't seem likely, but have they done enough? Fought back early morning with a stand between Williamson and Anderson which had its fair share of luck, but ensured that the morning session went wicketless. Australia bowled well right through and have clearly outbowled New Zealand on a flat wicket with their extra pace and bounce. Kept at it, probed away and were soon rewarded after the Lunch interval with three early strikes to reduce the Kiwis to 7 down with the lead not even beyond 100. Then they met with another obstacle in the form of the Watling-Henry partnership. With all the heart of a gambler, Henry kept swinging and rode his luck to swell the lead rapidly, while Watling hung around. Soon the hundred partnership came up and the lead started foraying into dangerous territory.

Corey Anderson to Khawaja, no run, now a leave outside off to see Australia through to the close just one down
19.5
Corey Anderson to Khawaja, no run, jeez, Khawaja! Two balls left but he doesn't seem to care. Aims an expansive cover drive on the up to a length ball tailing back in. Chops it off a thick inside edge onto pad
19.4
Corey Anderson to Burns, 1 run, his trigger movement allows him to nudge a ball from off stump through square leg
19.3
Corey Anderson to Burns, no run, gentle length ball outside off, Burns sees no reason in going behind it

Final over of the day coming up. How New Zealand would love a wicket to spice things up! Anderson has been chosen for the task and will bowl from round the wicket..

Boult
7-0-30-0
17.6
Boult to Khawaja, 2 runs, Boult has looked off-colour right through the Test. Such a big arsenal taken away from him with the ball not moving in the air. Drifts on Khawaja's pads and finds himself being clipped off behind square between the two deep fielders
17.5
Boult to Khawaja, no run, opts to stay back to a length ball to defend
17.4
Boult to Khawaja, no run, angled in around off, turned to mid-wicket

17.2
Boult to Khawaja, no run, hangs back and blocks down the pitch
17.1
Boult to Khawaja, FOUR, that's so nonchalantly whipped off the hips. Boult is no where near as intimidating with his short stuff. Doesn't get it to climb at all and Khawaja has executed his whippy short-arm pull to perfection through square leg
